2007 Fledgling facts:
March 7, 2007 The first day that Mama and Papa started taking turns sitting in the
nest, indicating the first egg was produced.

Chief fledged the nest on May 31, 2007 between 11:45am & 12:10pm.

Ivy fledged the nest on June 5, 2007 near 1pm.

2008 Fledgling facts:
March 4th or 5th, 2008 the first day that Mama and Papa started sitting on their nest
indicating that an egg was produced or about to be produced.

The first sighting of Mama & Papa's youngsters in the nest April 21, 2008 at 4:27pm.

Two of the Briarwood youngsters fledged the nest on June 1, 2008. The third fledgling
left the nest on June 3, 2008.

As of October 16th the third fledgling is still in the area, it's two siblings seem to have
left the area during the first week of August.
2009 Fledgling facts:
March 7th, 2009 Mama spent her first night in this seasons new nest.

April 14, 2009 we have confirmed that Mama and Papa have at least two very active
nestlings that hatched between April 5th and 8th.

May 7, 2009 We confirmed that the second eyass had perished, we hadn't seen it
from our ground observations for about a week.

June 3, 2009 between 2pm and 6:30pm the eyass has fledged the nest and is doing
fine.

2010 Fledgling facts:
March 1st, 2010 Mama spent her first night in this seasons new nest.

4/12/2010 we confirmed that Mama and Papa have at least two healthy nestlings, 3
to 4 days of age.

On 4/13/2010 we confirmed that there are a total of three healthy nestlings.  See

5/22/2010 prior to 10:30am the nestling has fledged the nest and is doing well.
2011 Fledgling facts:
March 5th, 2011 Mama spent her first night in this seasons new nest.

4/10/2011 we confirmed that Mama and Papa have had at least one egg hatch
based on behavioral changes at the nest.

On 5/9/2011 we observer our first glimpse of two healthy nestlings about four weeks
of age.

On 6/14/2011 both nestlings have fledged their nest.
FLEDGLING FACTS:
2012 Fledgling facts:
March 3, 2012 Mama and Papa started nesting.

April 11, 2012 Mama and Papa have a hatch.

May 26, 2012 Female eyass fell out of the nest around 7:50pm.

May 27, 2012 We rescued the eyass at 6:30am with a concussion and bleeding in the mouth.
Bobby Horvath is providing care and rehabilitation.

May 28, 2012 Male eyass fledged nest between 9:31am and 11:39am.

May 29, 2012 Found the male doing fine.

June 1, 2012 Injured eyass is ready for release to its family.

June 6, 2012 Successful release of the female now reunited with its family.

April 28, 2013 Two confirmed nestlings.

May 2, 2013 Three confirmed nestlings.

June 5, 2013 One eyass has fledged the nest.

June 8, 2013 The remaining two eyasses have fledged the nest.
2014 Fledgling facts:
NEWS: March 13, 2014 Mama is now sitting on her nest overnight.

NEWS: April 25, 2014 Mama has two Eyasses, maybe a third we will see...

NEWS: May 2, 2014 Confirmed Mama and Papa have three eyasses in the nest.
NEWS: May 2, 2014 Mama has three confirmed Eyasses in the nest.
